Thinking of booking a course?

….. then please read the information below - timings, lunches and booking term.

Booking Terms: Lund Studios (2025)

  • Booking is online via the bookings webpages.

  • In order to book your place you will need to pay in full when requested on the booking page - you can use any ‘normal’ credit or debit card.

  • You will receive a mail confirming your booking, including your booking reference number. This an automated mail and will arrive within a few minutes of making your booking.

  • In the unfortunate case that a course you are booked on needs to be cancelled for any reason, we will be in touch before the course start date and refund you your course fee.

  • If you find that you are unable to attend the course for any reason let us know as soon as possible :
    - with 6 weeks or more notice from the course start date we'll refund all monies paid - less a non-refundable element of the deposit to cover admin (£50 for courses of 3 days or more, £25 for courses of 2 days or less)
    - with less than 6 weeks’ notice we will try and fill your place. If we are able to fill your place then you'll receive a refund less the deposit. However, if we are unable to fill your place unfortunately your payments will be forfeited (this is to ensure we are able to pay our suppliers and tutors). You may wish to consider taking out insurance to cover this eventuality.

  • You may swap your place with anyone you like, though please do let us know in advance.

General Course Information

  • Our courses (usually) start at 10am. Everyone is welcome to arrive a little early in order to ‘land’ and be ready for a 10am start. Finishing around 4pm.

  • Lunch, cakes, coffee and tea are included (unless mentioned otherwise) - please do let us know of any special dietary requests when you book. Food is prepared fresh in the Lund Studios Kitchen, or at Stark Farm Bakery, Tollerton.

  • For most courses we’ll send out a materials list from the tutor around 5 weeks before the course. If materials are included in the fee this will be mentioned at booking.

  • Many of the courses involve time working in the local countryside. Some courses may involve relatively long walks and time spent on hills. This will be made clear in the course details. Please do make sure to bring suitable clothing, footwear and maybe a small bag to carry your kit.
